We believe refunds should be simple. If we don't deliver what we promised, you get your money back. This policy explains exactly when refunds apply across our custom development services, LaunchDay™ and IntelliDeliver™ - with no buried conditions or vague language. Read it once, know where you stand.

Our Approach to Refunds

We stand behind our work. If we fail to deliver what we promised, you should not be out of pocket - full stop. This policy sets out clearly and honestly what qualifies for a refund, what doesn't and how to request one.

We've written this policy to be fair to both sides. Refunds exist to protect you when something genuinely goes wrong on our end - not as a way to get work for free. We trust our clients and we ask for the same in return.

If you have a concern about any service or product, please contact us at hello@theweeky.com before assuming a refund is the only option. We resolve almost all issues through direct conversation.

Custom Development Projects

Deposits

Project deposits (typically 30–50% of the total project value) are non-refundable once work has commenced. The deposit covers the cost of scoping, planning, resource allocation and initial development work that cannot be recovered if the project is cancelled.

If you cancel before any work has begun - defined as within 48 hours of the deposit being received and before any discovery, planning or development activity has taken place - we will refund the deposit in full.

Milestone payments

Payments made for completed milestones are non-refundable, as the work has been delivered and accepted. If you are dissatisfied with a milestone deliverable, raise your concerns in writing within 7 business days of delivery - we will work with you to make it right under our revision policy before the next payment is due.

If we fail to deliver

If The Weeky fails to deliver the agreed scope as specified in the signed Statement of Work and we are unable to remedy the deficiency within a reasonable timeframe (agreed in writing), you are entitled to a partial or full refund proportional to the undelivered work. We will determine this together in good faith.

Client-caused delays or cancellations

If a project stalls or is cancelled due to client inaction, unavailability or failure to provide required materials, information or approvals, payments made to date are non-refundable. We will notify you in writing if a project has been idle for more than 30 days due to client unresponsiveness.

LaunchDay™ - Same-Day Website

Annual renewal refunds

Annual renewals are refundable within 7 days of the renewal charge if you have not requested any new work or services during that renewal period. After 7 days, renewals are non-refundable as hosting, domain and support costs have been committed.

Domain costs

Domain registration fees paid to registrars are non-refundable regardless of circumstances, as these are pass-through costs charged by third-party registrars. However, your domain is always yours - we will transfer it to you upon request at no charge.

Non-refundable scenarios

Refunds will not be issued where the website was delivered and accepted, revisions were completed as agreed, the 7-day window has passed or the dissatisfaction is based on a change in your own business direction rather than a failure in our delivery.

IntelliDeliver™ - Daily Reports

Free trial

IntelliDeliver™ includes a 14-day free trial on all plans. No payment is required during the trial. If you choose not to continue, simply cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.

First payment - 7-day refund window

If you are charged for your first subscription period and are unsatisfied with the product within the first 7 days, contact us for a full refund. We want you to be certain the product works for your business before you commit.

Renewal payments

Annual subscription renewals are refundable within 7 days of the renewal charge if you contact us promptly. After 7 days, the renewal period has been committed to infrastructure and data processing costs and is non-refundable.

Service outages

If IntelliDeliver™ fails to deliver reports for more than 3 consecutive business days due to an issue on our end, you are entitled to a pro-rated credit or refund for the days affected, calculated against your annual subscription rate.

Cancellation

You may cancel your IntelliDeliver™ subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not prorate partial months or years for mid-period cancellations unless required by applicable law.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at hello@theweeky.com with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Name / Company]" and include:

Your full name and company name

The service or product the refund relates to

The date of purchase or payment

The reason for your refund request - as specifically as possible

Any relevant screenshots, communications or supporting information

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and aim to resolve it within 5 business days. Where a refund is approved, we will process it to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card provider - typically 5–10 business days.

Chargebacks & Disputes

We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider. In nearly every case, we can resolve the issue faster and more fairly through direct conversation than through a formal dispute process - which typically takes 60–90 days and results in worse outcomes for both sides.

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback by providing our bank with evidence of services rendered, communications and deliverables. Approved chargebacks for services legitimately delivered may result in suspension of your account and recovery of any outstanding amounts.

We take a genuinely fair approach to refund requests. If you have a legitimate concern, just email us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For active clients and subscribers, material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The policy that was in effect at the time of your purchase governs your refund eligibility for that purchase.
